A three-day event for the 300th anniversary from the successful end of the siege of Corfu by the Ottomans, in August 1716. With the presence of more than 80 members of the von der Schulenburg family from around the world, descendants of Field Marshal Johann-Matthias von der Schulenburg, as well as of representatives of the Municipality of Venice. Participation in the exhibition on the same subject organized by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corfu. A short documentary, titled “1716 - Corfu, the Bastion of Europe” was created in collaboration with the Ionian University and shown in public projections during that period.
