Within the frame of the association's events entitled "Corfu remembers....", and as the year 2024 has been declared "Year of Lord Byron and of Philhellenism", a tribute to the phenomenon of Philhellenism will be presented on Sunday 26 May 2024.
In the context of this tribute, an event will be held at the Museum of Asian Art, which will include the speeches of two distinguished historians, Mrs. Chariklia Dimakopoulou and Mr. Nikos Kourkoumelis, as well as a speech by the important art historian, specialized in Philhellenic Art, in which she is considered a luminary, Mrs. Fanis Maria Tsigakou.The event will close with musical pieces inspired by the Philhellenic spirit.
Also a billingual edition (in greek and english), will be published, with the lectures and all the relevant photographic material.
