On Sunday 26 May 2024, at 20.00, an event was held at the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, dedicated to the phenomenon of Philhellenism, as the year 2024 has been proclaimed "Year of Philhellenism".
 
The event started with the Children's Choir "Agios Spyridon" under the direction of the conductor Christina Kalliaridou. This musical programme was followed by speeches delivered by:
 
  • Harikleia Dimakopoulou, PhD in Law and Institutional History
  • Fani-Maria Tsigakou, PhD in History of Art.
  • Nikolaos Kourkoumelis, Phd in History, University of Ioannina.
The evening concluded with a drink at the outer peristyle of the Palace."
