cover DufourPublication of a special edition in three languages (Greek, French and English), on the occasion of the Society’s commemorative event about Guillaume Henri Dufour’s passage (1810-1814) from Corfu as a Corp of Engineers’ officer of the French Imperial Army and his important work on the designing of the town’s fortifications. He became later-on the Commander in Chief of the Swiss Confederation’s Army and the country’s national hero. In collaboration with the Geneva based «Les Salons du Général Dufour» and «Fondation Maison Dufour” foundations.

It contains the addresses during the commemorative events for the 230th anniversary from Dufour’s birth and a rich collection of paintings, etchings and other documents from various sources, some of them unedited at the time.
